A 4-installment payment plan is available, often with 0 percent interest to those with at least decent credit. Ask us for details. Our luxury-oriented and itinerary-packed “Vietnam in 11 Days” tour is available for $2,116 USD per person. This price includes all transportation, except flights. It also includes English-speaking tour guides, food, all activities and all entry fees. If you would like lodging included for all nights on this tour, then the combined (transportation, tour guides, food, activities, entry fees and lodging) total would be $2,731 USD per person. This price is based on 2 per room and is offered to those booking at least 6 weeks in advance. Note that there is a $30 USD fee if paying by bank transfer or a 4.6 percent surcharge for payments made by credit card. We accept both forms of payment. We do not accept checks. Moving forward, to better understand your specific circumstances and wishes, and for us to accurately quote you, please tell us:
1. How many persons in your party-including yourself-would be joining this tour? Solo travelers are welcomed, in case you were wondering.
2. What is your age and the age of your travel companion(s), if applicable? Travel insurance is required for this tour and we cannot quote you without knowing your age.
3. Would you be sharing the room with others in your group (e.g. a spouse, relative or friend) or do you want the room exclusive to you?
4. Where would you be flying from (and back to)?
5. On what date would you like to leave home?
6. Would you like to extend the duration of this tour so you have some free days just to relax? If you have 1 extra day, then we recommend Da Nang. If you have 2, then we recommend 1 in Da Nang and 1 in Hanoi.
7. Do you have a preference between male and female tour guides?
8. On a side note, if you want to visit Ban Gioc Waterfall, it would need to be after Ba Be National Park and before returning to Hanoi. The drive from Ba Be National Park to Ban Gioc Waterfall takes about 5.5 hours. You go bamboo rafting close to the waterfall. Afterwards, you are taken to the nearby Tiger Cave (a.k.a. Nguom Ngao Cave). It all sounds great, but note there is a lot of driving involved. The drive from Ban Gioc Waterfall to Hanoi takes around 7 hours. We generally discourage adding this waterfall onto our standard itinerary, but we do allow it. Would you like to add Ban Gioc Waterfall and the nearby Tiger Cave? This increases the tour by 2 days.
9. Not least, would you like to visit the south of Vietnam? Phu Quoc is a quite mountainous, densely forested and ringed island featuring fine beaches. It otherwise offers arguably the best seafood in the country. You would also visit in and around the nightlife-filled city of Ho Chi Minh (a.k.a. Saigon). From there, you would make a daytrip to the Cu Chi War Tunnels. There an entire army was planning and training for war with America. From Ho Chi Minh, you would also make a daytrip to the Mekong River Delta. This is a great place from where to take a boat cruise along exotic scenery. Adding all of these destinations would make your 11-day standard tour now 15 days in total, with 2 days on Vietnam’s most beautiful and tropical island and 2 days making daytrips from Vietnam’s most energetic city plus 1 day in Ho Chi Minh itself.
10. Lastly, from Ho Chi Minh, some travelers relocate via a 4-hour drive to a beach resort called Mũi Né. While the coastline is an obvious draw, the sand dunes are the true highlight. The red ones are closer to town. The white ones are larger and more impressive. From Mũi Né, travelers commonly relocate via a 4-hour drive to a mountain town called Dalat. While it is known for its flowery, agricultural techniques, coffee and night market, its greatest draw is arguably the Elephant Falls, which is 1 hour away from town. From Dalat, travelers usually take a 3.5-hour drive to the coastal resort city of Nha Trang. The beaches, water activities, nightlife and mud baths are the highlights. Would you like to add this circuit onto the itinerary?
