Day 1: Wine & Jazz Sunset Cruise with an Open Bar
Cabo San Lucas is the base from which we make daily excursions. As we do not know your arrival time into this resort town, our tour officially begins in the evening. We go on a wine and jazz sunset cruise. Appetizers and an open bar are included on this catamaran ride.
Day 2: Swimming with Whale Sharks & Checking Out Hotel California or Snorkeling on the Island of the Holy Spirit
We are taken to a dock near to the city of La Paz. There a boat is waiting for us. We are heading to the uninhabited island of Espiritu Santo (a.k.a. Island of the Holy Spirit). The surrounding reefs are home to parrotfish, sharks, rays, turtles, dolphins and even whales. Birds include brown pelicans, turkey vultures and hummingbirds. Breakfast and lunch are included on today’s tour.
Note that from October to April, you can substitute the Espiritu Santo tour for swimming alongside whale sharks in the open ocean as well as visiting the world-renowned Hotel California. Please let us know.
Day 3: The Day Remembered as an "Adrenaline Rush" & Then Interacting with Dolphins
The day starts in a ranch area called Miraflores. There we go zip lining, rappelling, rock climbing and swinging on a pendulum (we get pushed from the edge of a canyon wall and swing back and forth). Lunch is included after all these activities. The day ends at the marina in Cabo San Lucas. There we interact and swim with dolphins.
Day 4: Powered Paragliding, Horseback Riding Along the Beach, Camel Riding & Driving an ATV in the Desert
Today we head to a ranch and beach area called Migriño. There we go camel riding as well as horseback riding in the desert and along the beach. Also, we drive an all-terrain vehicle (a.k.a. ATV) or utility task vehicle (a.k.a. UTV) through the desert and along the beach. Lunch is included on today’s tour.
Let us know if you would like for today to take our afternoon powered paragliding (a.k.a. paramotoring) tour over a beautiful beach. It is not automatically included on the standard tour because while some welcome the adrenaline rush, others are afraid of heights. Our customers who have added this tour absolutely love it.
Day 5: Parasailing, Paddle Boarding & Visiting Cabo’s Greatest Landmark by Boat
From the marina in Cabo San Lucas, we are taken by boat to the Arch of Cabo San Lucas and Chileno Bay. Snacks and water are included on today’s tour, as are snorkeling and paddle boarding. The day ends with parasailing.
Day 6: Our Tour Ends This Morning
Our tour ends this morning. Transportation will be arranged for you to reach the international airport in Cabo San Lucas.
I really like how we started the tour with a wine and jazz sunset boat cruise. Giving us an open bar made the experience even better! CharlieTheTraveler’s tour is done at a perfect pace, at a pace you can enjoy.
The reason why I chose CharlieTheTraveler’s tour over other tours covering the Cabo San Lucas area is because this company offers a lot more destinations and activities. The tour I got was exactly as advertised. I do feel like a got a first-class experience.
The tour to Cabo San Lucas was short, but it was packed with more to do than I would have ever expected. The southern tip of the peninsula has so much to offer, and I found CharlieTheTraveler highlighted the best aspects on this tour. I loved that the trip was planned ahead of time for me! Even the accommodations were recommended so I didn't have to stress about picking the right hotel.
I was nervous about booking a trip to Cabo San Lucas as it looked very nice, but I knew nothing about the area. However, I read positive reviews about other tours of CharlieTheTraveler and felt confident in booking the trip through them. The company was well organized and my trip was well worth the low price of the tour. I had such a great time on all of the excursions!
The Cabo/Baja California tour CharlieTheTraveler offers is diverse in regard to the destinations we visited and the activities we engaged in. The whole tour was great, with riding a horse on the beach and swimming with dolphins probably serving as my most memorable moments.
What I really liked is that we were doing a different thing every single day. It is almost impossible to get bored on this tour. We had a great time for sure, with no complaints whatsoever.
I like to go on boat rides and check out islands. This is one of the many reasons why I chose this Cabo & Baja California tour. The snorkeling we did was great too. The nice thing is that this tour offers even more than just boat rides and snorkeling. A lot of fun things to do and see are presented to us from the start to the finish of this trip.
This tour is perfect for adventure-seekers. Paddle boarding, zip lining, rappelling, ATV riding, parasailing…We were given so much in a relatively short period of time.
This is nothing short of a luxury tour. If you want to sit around and do little to nothing other than tan on the beach, then this tour isn’t the right one for you. However, if you are into adventure and otherwise want to be treated like an important person, then CharlieTheTraveler’s Cabo & Baja California tour is just what you are looking for.
We went parasailing on the day of arrival! There really was no time to waste while on this tour. It was action-packed, to say the least. I recommend it to any traveler who is the active type.
‘Well-planned’ is the first thing which comes to my mind when I remember the Cabo/Baja area trip I took with CharlieTheTraveler. We did not have to think about much other than to be ready in the lobby at the pickup time. We really covered a lot of fun places while on CharlieTheTraveler’s tour. I definitely recommend this tour and this company!
After purchasing this Cabo area tour, CharlieTheTraveler emailed me a letter explaining each day’s activities and what I needed to bring and what to expect. I could tell by the letter itself just how organized this company is. At the same time, I could tell just how strategic this company is in terms of maximizing what you experience in a relatively short period of time, that is, without overdoing it. The itinerary was well-paced.
CharlieTheTraveler is a solid company, at least that is the impression it left me with. Its Cabo & Baja California tour was fun and meaningful, for sure. Next time, I want to take CharlieTheTraveler’s Cancun area tour, again in Mexico.
Horseback riding on a beach called Playa Migriño was my favorite moment while on this tour. That was my first time riding a horse. Playa Migriño features a really pretty beach. I am glad CharlieTheTraveler chose that specific beach area for horseback riding.
What was my favorite activity while on this multiday tour? It was the zip-lining, for sure. I felt an adrenaline rush that day. Also, the scenery in the area was really nice. The whole multiday tour was nice, to be honest. There wasn’t even 1 thing I disliked. What we were doing every day was exciting.

Frequently Asked Questions
How Much Does This Tour Cost?
Financing (monthly payments) is offered to most of our customers. Ask us for details. Our luxury-oriented and itinerary-packed “Cabo San Lucas & Southern Baja California in 6 Days” tour is available for $1,539 USD per person. This price includes all transportation, except flights. It also includes English-speaking tour guides, food, all activities and all entry fees. If you would like typically 4-star lodging included for all nights on this tour, then the combined (transportation, tour guides, food, activities, entry fees and lodging) total would be $2,289 USD per person. This price is based on 2 per room and is offered to those booking at least 6 weeks in advance. To better understand your specific circumstances and wishes, and for us to accurately quote you, please tell us:
1. Would you like to keep the 4-star lodging we typically offer or do you prefer upgrading to a 5-star hotel?
2. How many persons in your party-including yourself-would be joining this tour?
3. Do you prefer this tour to be private/exclusive to you or would you like to share it with other travelers?
4. Would you be sharing the room with others in your group (e.g. a spouse, relative or friend) or do you want the room exclusive to you?
5. Do you know on which date you would like to start this tour?
6. On a side note, would you like to add a powered paragliding (a.k.a. paramotoring) tour over a beach called Migriño? Strapped onto a motor vehicle, you are literally flying in the air. It is not automatically included on the standard tour because while some welcome the adrenaline rush, others are afraid of heights. Our customers who have added this tour absolutely love it. Are you interested?
What’s Excluded in the Price?
Any airfare, alcohol, travel insurance, any government-imposed visa fees and anything not mentioned in the itinerary
Note that we would be happy to assist you in finding international airfare upon request.
At What Specific Hotels Would We Be Staying?
For this tour, you would be staying the whole time in Cabo San Lucas. It is always from there you would make daily excursions. Medano Hotel & Suites or Marina Fiesta Resort & Spa are the names of the hotels in Cabo San Lucas where we commonly have our customers stay. Note this is subject to availability.
Is This a Private or Group Tour?
Although virtually all activities on this multi-day tour are shared with other travelers, we can make the trip almost completely private, per your request.
Am I Sharing the Room with Someone?
Your room is exclusive to you and whomever is in your party. Strangers (meaning customers who book on the same start date but do not know each other) do not share rooms on this tour. On a side note, please let us know if you and the other person(s) in your booking want separate rooms.
What is the Age Range & Nationality of the People Who Book This Tour?
Although we get customers of all ages and from several countries, our statistics show most people who book are 30 to 65 years old and from USA, UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
Are Kids Allowed on This Tour & Are They Charged the Same as Adults?
We welcome your kids specifically and only when the tour is exclusive to you and your group-meaning other customers are not joining you. We define kids as anyone under 18 years old. In order to make the tour exclusive to you and your group, your booking would need to be for 4 persons or more for any of our tours except Iceland. For our Iceland tour, your booking would need to be for 8 persons or more. Regarding the cost of bringing a non-adult, we do deduct from the total based on the amount of activities you request we remove from the tour. Note that reducing the total price of the tour by removing activities is something offered for non-adults only. Adults can opt out of activities but the total price does not change.
How Strong Do I Need to Be For This Trip?
We do not expect you to be an Olympic champion. We know some of the tour members are more fit than others…and we are well prepared for this. However, we do hope you take into consideration this is a very active tour, just like every other tour we offer.
Are Disabled People Allowed on This Tour?
Please let us know about any disability you have. Some disabilities would not affect you taking this tour. Others would prevent you from joining altogether. Although we want all of our customers to have fun, your safety is our first priority.
Do I Get Any Free Time to Myself?
Of course. Once each day’s tour is over, you have the rest of the evening to yourself. Because our tours tend to be very active, our customers typically want to simply relax once the sun sets.
What Happens If I Arrive Late?
Notify us as soon as possible and we will do our very best to arrange a meeting point. Please note that we do not refund for any days or activities that you miss.
Can I Opt-Out of Certain Activities?
Generally speaking, you can opt out as long as we are given adequate notice. Please note that opting out of certain activities does not reduce the price of this tour.
What Happens If I Get Injured on This Trip & Cannot Continue?
We would do our best to keep you safe and make you as comfortable as possible, as well as make special arrangements to address your situation. Partial refunds are not offered if you cannot continue with the tour. However, most travel insurances reimburse you for such situations. This is one of many reasons why we require our customers to purchase travel insurance before taking this tour.
What Happens If I Cancel This Trip?
To confirm your tour, full payment is needed at the time of your purchase. However, refunds are offered. You will receive a full refund if canceling at least 91 days in advance from the departure date. Cancelling between 90-60 days prior to departure entitles you to a 50 percent refund. Cancelling between 59-31 days prior to departure entitles you to a 25 percent refund. Canceling 30 days or less prior to departure is not eligible for a refund. Cancellation requests need to be made by email and become effective on the date received by CharlieTheTraveler.
What Happens If You, CharlieTheTraveler, Cancel This Trip?
In the unlikely event CharlieTheTraveler needs to cancel this trip, such as because of very poor weather conditions, we will give you a full refund for the tour within 14 business days of the cancellation. Note: We are not a participant in the California Travel Consumer Restitution Fund, nor is this transaction covered by the Restitution Fund.
How Do You Help Prepare Us For This Trip?
You should receive an email from us within 24 hours of purchasing this tour as well as a week before departure. The first email gives details about what to bring, how to prepare yourself, etc. The second email is more like a timetable combined with important contact information.
Is CharlieTheTraveler Licensed & Which State in America Issued it?
The owner of the travel license is the same owner of CharlieTheTraveler. Charlie is a California born and bred resident. The company is headquartered in Greater Los Angeles. The registration number is CST 2136740-70. Please note that travel agents registered as a seller of travel in California does not constitute approval by the State. Are the Tour Guides Licensed & Will They Be With Me the Entire Time?
Our tour guides/drivers are licensed, speak English and know how to bring excitement to your day. What we deliver is the complete opposite of the cookie-cutting tours the big corporations offer, leaving you in complete boredom. Although our tour guides/drivers are attentive, accommodating and engaged, they also know when to give you your private space and free time. It's a perfect balance.
Are We Required to Have Travel Insurance?
Travel insurance is required for all of our customers, for their protection and safety. CharlieTheTraveler does not sell travel insurance. We cannot endorse any specific company. Please check out different companies online and go with the one which offers the most comprehensive coverage.
In Which Language(s) is This Tour Offered?
All of our tours are offered in English. If you prefer another language, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Can We Customize This Tour?
Although we are open to customizing this tour to fit your liking, as a general rule, we discourage the practice. We do our best to keep the cost of the tour low. The more we customize it, the quicker the price goes up. As our tour is currently advertised, you absolutely will not find another one out there as packed with activities and attractions. What’s more, you will not find another tour out there that offers it all "FIRST CLASS," yet for a relatively low price. We have thousands of travelers taking this specific tour every year, and that's because no competitor can beat us on quality, price & substance.
Do We Need to Get Our Own Transportation to and From the Airport?
Absolutely not. We make the arrangements for you.
Can We Book Instantly?
We do not offer the option for you to book instantly because we first need you to tell us via email or phone call the answers to these questions below. Once we have this information, we can send you the link so you can book immediately.
1. Would you be sharing the room with others in your group (e.g. a spouse, relative or friend) or do you want the room exclusive to you?
2. Do you prefer a budget-sensitive 3-star hotel, a better quality but pricier 4-star hotel or a luxurious 5-star hotel?
3. How many persons in your party-including yourself-would be joining this tour?
4. Do you know on which date you would like to start the tour?
Is Someone Available for Us 24-7 While on This Tour?
Yes! You have your own concierge for this tour who is at your disposal. You could reach this person when you need anything.
